​Dr. Jaclynne Magno-Choi
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Choi received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychobiology from UCLA in 2002. After graduating, Dr. Choi decided to work at a private optometry practice in Brea for 2 years. Here, she learned how to dispense glasses and contact lenses to patients and maintained front-office duties as a receptionist. She decided to enroll at the prestigious Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton now known as the Marshall B. Ketchum University, to pursue her doctorate degree. Externship experiences included a private Ophthalmology practice in Las Vegas, NV specializing in cataract surgery and the anterior segment, providing eye exams to military members and recruits in San Diego Naval Bases and Hospital, as well as the inner city community of downtown Los Angeles. In 2008, Dr. Choi received her doctorate degree and graduated with honors. After getting her license, Dr. Choi worked at several private optometric offices and Lenscrafters.
She established her office in Santa Fe Springs in late 2008. Her focus is primary eye care and contact lens fitting. Dr. Choi is also certified in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic agents for the treatment and management of ocular diseases such as eye infections, allergies, dry eyes and glaucoma. She enjoys seeing patients and is passionate about her career. She regularly attends meetings, conferences and seminars to keep up to date with the latest changes in the optometric field.
Outside of work, Dr. Choi is a full-time mom and wife. She has been married to her husband for 22 years and have been blessed with 2 wonderful children. They enjoy hiking, traveling, eating and playing soccer.
